Sound familiar?
- Rent from your cousin, $120.00 from Sarah, gas money — one feed, three different stories.
- The social feed hides amounts, and tax season doesn't care.
- Scrolling January through December to add up a year, by hand.
What contado does for you
- Screenshot the Transactions list — not the social feed — and contado reads every payment: who, how much, when.
- Swipe right for business, left for personal. Your cousin's rent never touches your books.
- Duplicates are caught across overlapping screenshots, so nothing counts twice — one payment, one entry.
In January, your Schedule C is basically done.
Schedule-C categories on your expenses, a mileage estimate, proof of income, and a CSV your tax preparer opens directly.
In English, Spanish and Portuguese — switch any time, free.
Common questions
- Do I have to connect my Venmo account?
- No. There is no Venmo login and no bank connection — you screenshot your own Transactions list and upload it. Screenshots are read by OpenAI; we keep the rows it returns, not the image, though OpenAI may retain the image for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse.
- I use a Venmo business profile. Does it still work?
- Yes — contado reads the payments your screenshots show, whichever profile they come from. Business or personal, you still confirm every row before it lands in your books.
- Can I use it in Spanish or Portuguese?
- Yes. English, Spanish and Portuguese, switchable any time. We never charge for language.
